The Liberati Quartet

This contemporary jazz quartet is formed around guitarist Edoardo Liberati. What started as a trio, became a quartet soon when tenor saxophone was added to the formation. The Liberati Quartet plays a repertoire which is focused on original compositions, mostly written by Edoardo Liberati.

After releasing their first EP “Cubes” in May 2016, the Liberati Quartet recorded their second and most recent EP called “Upside Down” in February 2017. This EP contains all original compositions.
In march 2017, the quartet was announced as the winner of the Erasmus Jazz Prize 2017, a prestigious dutch jazz competition. Up next were concerts and tours in various jazz venues and festivals in Italy, Belgium, France and the UK. Within the Netherlands, the Liberati Quartet played in places such as the North Sea Jazz Festival, the Dag van de Rotterdamse Jazz, Jazz Festival Delft and many more.

A new full lengt album is expected to be recorded in autumn 2018.
