Jesse Schilderink (1995) is a Rotterdam based saxophonist and composer who’s mostly active in the scene of instrumental and improvised music.
Due to formations such as the Dutch National Youth Jazz Orchestra (NJJO), De Raad van Toezicht and Liberati Quartet, Jesse shows an increasing presence in the Dutch music scene over the years. His widespread musical interest creates an always evolving way of playing, writing and creating music. Not being scared of experiment and constantly trying to expand his personal boundaries, Jesse is always on the move.
Currently he’s graduating from his bachelor studies at the jazz department of the Codarts Conservatory of Rotterdam. Throughout the years, he followed lessons with teachers such as Ben van den Dungen, Dick de Graaf and Simon Rigter and followed masterclasses with a.o. Bob Reynolds and David Binney.
